Zane Austin Willard is a contemporary multimedia artist, writer, and filmmaker. Zane works primarily in themes of body, language, and identity. His art works through gender identity and sexuality and his filmmaking works to challenge the lines between documentary and narrative filmmaking.
Zane studies at The University of Tampa in Tampa, FL. He is pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film & Media Arts and Animation and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with minors in Communications, Mathematical Programming, and Interactive Media.
Zane's short film Switzerland has been screened at the Toronto Alternative Film Festival and the Tampa International Gay & Lesbian Film Festival. He has also received celebrity recognition for his poem, Nico, Nico, Nico: A Tribute to Nico Tortorella.
